Today is not the tomorrow that Brock wants it to be. I say that his Grandparents are coming tomorrow. He says today is tomorrow. Technically, today is tomorrow, it is just not the tomorrow that he is hoping for. Confusing, no?
The other day we were riding in the car. "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon was playing on the radio and I was singing along at the top of my lungs, much to the consternation of my children.
Zoe asked me to define the word "vain." I did my best to explain it to her. She thought for a minute and then said, "at my school, we call it 'all that'".
Oh, what a generation can do to ruin the English Language.
